Progress report:

James met with JStor: They are trying connect what they have with outside information. James talked about Filteredpush with them on the link between new annotation and their existing archive.

Bob think that descriptive data such identification key are assertion about taxon concept which deserve to be transported as annotations. He worked on extracting keys from PUB-Med docs with some php solution. But because the rendering nature of their DTD, it is hard to succeed with XSLT.

Chinua and Zhimin have a simple demo ready. During the meeting, the possibility of merge instant response with message queue is discussed. Further study of this problem is needed.

- James wants to remember to discuss annotation standards and a schema. We led this discussion at TDWG and should lead the creation of the extension. This would be a good contribution/publication for the Filtered Push team. Amanda Neill is also anxious to have this extension for BRIT's Atrium software.
