- Annotation Ontology (AO) is a restriction of Annotea that shares some of our concerns. It is aimed at annotating documents, and it is not clear that it could support using an arbitrary vocabularies for the annotation concerns, but it is worth re-examining it in its recent form. --Bob Morris 23:10, 3 October 2010 (UTC)
- It seems that at least for simple cases, we can use AO. A few limping examples along with an extension aod.owl of the Annotation Ontology (AO) are in the FilteredPus svn repo. They are a moving target, but with lots of ontology annotations that hopefully say what the intent is. Discussion at AOD Extension of AO for Data --Bob Morris 23:54, 6 February 2011 (EST)
