Agenda
- Update on Curation Package
- Evaluation of embedded curation scenario
- TDWG
- Goals for the next few months
Reports
- Paul
- With Bob, composed a scenario for use of Kepler as an analytical capability in the network to clean data with data - new georeferences cause an existing georeferenced point to be identified as incorrectly georeferenced through re-analysis of the collector's track.
- Cleaned up AOD ontology examples. Created illustrations of the AOD ontology examples. See: AOD_Extension_of_AO_for_Data#Examples
- Created three AOD discussion documents illustrating ways to connect content of annotation to subject of annotation.
- Zhimin
- Code generation
- Help Lei on the installation of filteredpush demo in virtual box
- Lei
- Installed FPush service in virtualbox
- James
- Reached out to TDWG for FP group to host session on annotation.
Notes
- Update on Curation Package
Lei: Working this week on installing FP service in virtual box. After this need to work on documentation. Prospective release schedule in 2 weeks.
- Evaluation of embedded curation scenario
Lei: Looks doable. Needs discussion, e.g. when a user sends a request, under what condidtions will a job be executed.
Paul: Perhaps configuration of analysis rather than a message.
Zhimin: We may need some kind of language to act a trigger for launch of continuous quality control analysies. In short term configuration and hard coded.
Lei: Implementation would involve FP network and Kepler. Coordinate with Maureen?
Paul: Yes.
- TDWG
Bertram: FYI: collides with DataONE All-Hands-Meeting..
Bertram: DataOne project manager pointed out unfortunate overlap. Hosting a provenance working group at DataOne meeting.
James: Wrote to relevant people, no response yet.
- Goals for the next few months
Paul: Curation package release. Prepare demo of embedded Kepler for continuous quality control in prototype package. Mapper. Network software. Annotations.
General agreement.
