Notes
Filtered Push Team Meeting 2012 Feb 15
Present: Bertram, Maureen, David, Paul, Jim, Bob.
- NSF Workshop RFP
Nothing from NSF yet.
Review public objectives for rest of year.
- SPNHC http://peabody.yale.edu/collections/spnhc2012/home
- SPNHC registration, Early registration by April 6 abstract due April 13
- Bertram: SPNHC dates? Monday, June 11, 2012 - Saturday, June 16, 2012
Need to have a dev or PI meeting there? Quarter ends June 14th, so grades would have to be done by 16th (whoops, that's when SPNHC ends...)
Potential team meeting at Harvard just before SPNHC.
At least informal contacts, perhaps something more formal with node participants at SPNHC.
- AOD
- Progress on paper
Bob: Filling in citations. Needs summary. Has incorporated discussion with Lei.
- Progress on Annotation generation
David: Incorporating fuzz testing, tool can generate annotation documents with invalid xml, xss, and sql injection attacks. Reworking generation of RDF instance documents from annotated java classes.
Bob: SQL injection for preventing attacks?
- Expected elements in ApplePie annotation instances.
Bob: Probably more a technical issue, the basic point is the technology David is using needs to take care not to trip on itself it something other than the minimal set for ApplePie is present. Need to specify in tech meeting what graceful handling means.
Paul: Also probably good feedback from Jim and James in display in user interfaces.
For friday: Gracefull handling.
- Tech group needs to make a decision on or set a date for decision for the domain objects supported for Apple Pie.
For friday: Domain objects for David. Does DwCFP have all of what it needs? It doesn't have all of apple core?
Paul: Review Golden Delicious on apple core site.
- AnnotationProcessor
- Integration Progress
Maureen: Have been refactoring while integrating, more to do, but can show.
Two UIs integrated and functioning, can ingest annotation into stub db.
Next steps:
Doing form in morphbank to generate annotations.
Specify driver replacing stub.
Plan for developing UI.
Try placing generated annotations into redstore and running spaqul queries to test requirements about annotations.
- UI Design
Maureen: Nice to know what general principles we want in layout and design.
Todo: Talk with James about his programmer.
- API For Query and Cluster Finding
Put off to next week.
Bertram: Agenda for tech meeting? Maureen: http://etaxonomy.org/mw/TechMeetingAgenda
- Pending Tech Issues
- Tech group needs to make a decision on or set a date for decision for the query language for pub-sub for Apple Pie.
- Tech group needs to decide on or set a date for decision for the scope, composition, and implementation of the "global cache."
Notes:
For next week: Discussion of potential grant proposals. Activities at SPNHC.
